Sony launches new PSN import store with Cho Aniki and Gaia Seed next week
Two Japanese shmups are coming to the PSN next week.
MonkeyPawGames announced today that Cho Aniki and Gaia Seed are coming to the PSN on September 21st. Neither game have ever been released outside of Japan.
The games featured in the PSN imports store are not localized. MonkeyPawGames provides instructions on how to play the games on their website. It really shouldn’t be an issue though since these are shmups.
Gaia Seed is a pretty traditional shmup and should be immediately familiar to fans of the genre. This game is extremely rare so it’s great to see that it’s going to be available on the PSN.
Cho Aniki on the other hand is one of the more unique titles we’ve ever seen. You’ll know exactly why once you see the screenshots below.
Cho Aniki and Gaia Seed will be available on September 21st in North America for only $5.99.
