Capcom is working with CyberConnect2 to unleash Asura’s Wrath.

Developed by CyberConnect2 (famous for the .hack and Naruto games) and produced by Capcom, Asura’s Wrath is a new action game that utilizes the Unreal Engine 3. Based on the debut trailer from TGS, this game looks amazing and has a lot of style.

The story isn’t exactly original though. Asura was a deity betrayed by the gods and stripped of all his powers. This made Asura angry and now he seeks vengeance. According to the press release, the game is inspired by episodic dramas and will be split into different sections leading up to the “final climatic conclusion.”

Be sure to watch the trailer to see all the craziness for yourself. Seriously, Asura gets stabbed by tons of weapons and takes the hits like its nothing. It just fuels him even more!

In case you missed it, Capcom also revealed DmC, a reboot of the Devil May Cry series developed by Ninja Theory.
