Nippon Ichi just opened a teaser site for Disgaea 4 today. All we have for now is this debut trailer. Expect a full unveiling on October 7th.

Not much has changed visually. Disgaea 4 looks exactly as you’d imagine. The game is still a SRPG that uses 2D sprites in 3D environments. It doesn’t seem like the character sprites are as pixelated as they were in Disgaea 3. It’s difficult to tell though since we only have a YouTube video to go by.

Disgaea 4 releases on February 24th in Japan. The trailer confirms that there will be a network mode of some sort. We’ll keep you updated once more information is released, dood.

Update: Over at the neogaf forums new screenshots from the trailer were posted. Check out the comparison shot. The visual differences between Disgaea 3 and 4 are quite significant.
