From our early hands-on with the title, we can tell you that Top Gun is a fun game to play. It released in North America a few weeks ago, and you may remember that we spoke to scriptwriter Jack Epps Jr, and confirmed the list of trophies recently too.

Today Paramount Digital Interactive confirmed the release date and prices for this well praised title in Europe.

Top Gun is due for release next week on the PlayStation Store, the 8th of September to be exact. The title will also be priced at a very reasonable £7.99 / €9.99.

So less than a week to go before European gamers can enjoy this new game based on the iconic 80s movie with the same name.
