The massive 2.0 patch for MAG is now live. Adding an incredible number of new features and improvements, the 520MB update is now available to download the next time you load up the game.

There are far too many additions to list in this article (click here for the full details), but the biggest change is probably the introduction of PlayStation Move support. As with other Move patches, it takes a bit of getting used to, but has the potential to be much more accurate once you get the hang of the controls.

Again this is only a tiny amount of the patch’s improvements so please check out the above link to view the full list, but the other main features are:

• an increased level cap
• a revamped skill tree
• a new economy system
• an in-game store to purchase equipment
• a clan-deploy feature

We say this every patch, but it really is great to see MAG getting fantastic support like this over eight months after its launch, especially considering most of the team at Zipper Interactive are presumably working on SOCOM 4.
