Get Moving with new Killzone 3 Move video

Submitted by on Friday, 1 October 20106 Comments

We here at the Attitude Towers think the pure brilliance behind the design of Move is the fact that it can appeal to all kinds of gamers.  Not only is Sony going after the casual crowd with its new motion controller but they’re giving core gamers a nod too.  One of those games that works with Move that appeals to the usual crowd is Killzone 3.  Today, we’ve got a new video that unveils some new details and gives us an idea of what to expect.

So what exactly will motion gaming be like when it’s implemented in traditional games?  That’s a question that has been burning through the skulls of gamers everywhere.  Thanks to the PlayStation Blog and Guerrilla Games, we now know a little more.  Below, you’ll find a video about how the Move will function with Killzone 3.

We’ll let you take in all the goodness of this interview on your own but one of things we do want to talk about is playing multiplayer with Move.  If playing MAG with the Move has taught us anything so far, it’s that you’re probably going to get lunched when you try against those using the standard DualShock controller.  Killzone 3 brings us the solution, with a matchmaking filter that will only target those playing with motion controls.  Exciting stuff, indeed.  We get the feeling that Killzone 3 will be our first really good example of how Move can work with traditional shooters.

Check out the video and be sure to let us know what you think!  If you’re interested in preordering Killzone 3, you can do so via one of the links below and help our charity in the process.
