Welcome…. TO DIE!

At the NYCC it was announced that Konami’s hilariously fun X-Men arcade game is coming to the PSN sometime soon. According to IGN, this will be a port of the game we all loved in the 90′s, complete with bad dialogue.

The visuals in this port are untouched for the most part but the overhead display has been redone. The voice acting has been re-recorded and it supposedly sounds just like the original arcade release. The cheesy one-liners are still intact, thankfully.

Fans have been begging for this game for quite some time and we’re finally getting it. X-Men arcade will feature support for up to 6 players (online and offline) and there will be online leaderboards. A release date hasn’t been set yet, but Konami is hoping to get the game out by December.
