Spelunker HD hits the North American PSN on November 23rd

Last October, we posted our review for the Japanese version of Spelunker HD. If you’re a fan of the original, you’ll most likely love this game. It’s the same brutal spelunking gameplay but with better visuals and tons of new content. Tozai Games announced that the game is finally coming to North America on November 23rd. Yay!
Spelunker HD features 100 levels of awesome, leaderboards, and multiplayer gameplay modes with support for up to 6 players simultaneously (locally or online). It doesn’t seem like there will be additional content for the North American release.
Tozai Games revealed through twitter that Spelunker HD is priced at $9.99, which is cheaper than we originally thought it’d be. Similar to games like WipEout HD and Trine, Spelunker HD is one of those PSN titles that features a platinum trophy.
