New Homefront occupation trailer

Submitted by on Tuesday, 14 December 20106 Comments

A new teaser trailer for Homefront has been released by THQ, which delves further into the story and shows some pretty risky scenes.

Homefront is set in the near future, in 2027,  in a time when America has suffered a disastrous economic collapse. A united Korea has become unimaginably powerful, and has invaded America, turning the Land of the Free into a battleground.

The video shows several atrocities: people being hanged, bodies being piled into pits and civilians being butchered – it’s pretty graphic. America is occupied, and the fightback is about to begin.

The game is being developed by Kaos Studios and John Milius (Apocalypse Now, Red Dawn) has written the script. This is certain to be one of the boldest FPSs to be released this generation. View the trailer below:

Earlier this month we also posted some developer diaries that explained the story a little further and discussed the multiplayer. Check them out.
