Bulletstorm co-op preview: kill with skill together

A game as deliciously messy and silly as Bulletstorm is shouldn’t be played alone, and we’re glad developer People Can Fly agrees. The studio is adding co-op multiplayer to Bulletstorm so you can “kill with skill” with your friends.

European PS Store Update for 8 December – The Early Edition

We’re a little late with today’s European Store update, as it actually updated this morning. Don’t get used to it though, it’s just an early Christmas present from SCEE.

This week’s content includes Alien Breed 2: Assault, Kung-Fu LIVE!, and a PSN release of Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Vegas 2, as well as the usual DLC, minis, demos, themes and avatars.

PlayStation Plus subscribers also get a few free goodies this week, in the form of some Hustle Kings and Dead Nation avatars, and more importantly, the co-operative PS Move game, Sackboy’s Prehistoric Moves (releasing on the Store next week for everyone else).

So, is there anything that Sony can tempt you with today?

Crescent Pale Mist – The PS3 Attitude Review

Crescent Pale Mist is a crazy fast 2.5D action platformer developed by ClassiC Shikoukairo. As with The Gundemonium Collection, which was Rockin’ Android’s previous PSN offering, Crescent Pale Mist was only available in Japan for the PC.

If you’re looking for one of the most frustrating gaming experiences ever, you’ll definitely want to play this game.

Just how accurate is the Nurburgring in GT5?

Nurburgring Nordschleife is one of the most famous tracks in the world, and it’s also Kazunori Yamauchi’s favourite track. The car-obsessed creator of Gran Turismo has spent years trying to recreate the Ring in all its glory. Well, a racer in Germany has been putting his creation to the test, so we’re now in a position to ask the question: just how accurate is the virtual Nurburgring?

Venetica – hands-on preview

The first thing that you will notice about Venetica – the upcoming fantasy role-playing game from German developer Deck 13 – is its low production values. It looks old, there’s no escaping it, but if you can look past those smudgy textures, you might appreciate its large scale, strong lead character and interesting setting. There is potential here to offer a rich and rewarding experience to the sadly underserved fans of the fantasy genre.

Worms 2: Armageddon – The PS3 Attitude Review

Team 17′s long running turn-based strategy game is back and it’s packed with new modes, features, and even more weapons. The first Worms title to hit the PSN wasn’t exactly Team 17′s best effort, but it was still a fun game. Thankfully, Worms 2: Armageddon is the improvement everyone was looking for.

Who knew killing worms could be this much fun?
