In preparation for their upcoming reboot of the Tomb Raider series, Crystal Dynamics is planning on releasing The Tomb Raider Trilogy this coming March. The collection will feature  Legend, Anniversary, and Underworld.

Both Tomb Raider Legend and Anniversary, previously released on the PS2, will be remastered in high definition. Underworld, having already been released on the PS3, will forgo said remastering.

“We’re really excited to be able to offer gamers the chance to play both Legend and Anniversary ‘remastered in high definition on the PlayStation®3,” said Darrell Gallagher, Head of Studio, Crystal Dynamics. “These are two titles we are extremely proud to have created.”

In addition to the three games, PlayStation fans will be treated with an exclusive static theme pack, Lara Croft and Viking Thrall Home avatars, and behind the scenes “making of” trailers for each game.

If you have yet to experience the classic Lara Croft, now would be the perfect time to do so and get caught up with the series.

The Tomb Raider Trilogy will be available on March 22, 2011 in North America and on March 25, 2011 in Europe with a price tag of $39.99.
