Final Fantasy I and II coming soon to PSN in Europe

Submitted by on Friday, 11 February 20114 Comments

The PSN is home to many of the great Final Fantasy games such as VII and VIII but soon European gamers will get the opportunity to purchase the two titles that started it all; Final Fantasy and Final Fantasy II.

That is of course if you missed out on the original NES version, PSP version, or any of the many other versions out there.

Final Fantasy will be available on the EU PSN next week on February 16th while Final Fantasy II will hit the following month on March 2nd. ¬†There is currently no word on a NA PSN release although we expect it won’t be long before we see them overseas. Both games will be priced at ¬£7.99.

If that’s a little too expensive for your liking and you’re willing to wait until the end of March, purchasers of Dissidia 012 Final Fantasy for the PSP will get a voucher for 50% off Final Fantasy. A 50% off voucher for Final Fantasy II will be included with copies of The 3rd Birthday.

The PSN versions of Final Fantasy I and II will be the same as the PSP ones and include the extra dungeons and artwork galleries. If you’ve somehow missed either of these classic titles, now is a better time than ever to pick them up.
