Those of you familiar with the F.E.A.R. franchise will recognize Paxton Fettel as the main antagonist in the series. While Point Man has some super soldier abilities, they pale in comparison to what Fettel is capable of.

We’ve seen what he can do in previous games but with F.E.A.R. 3, you’ll be able to take control of him and wreck some havoc of your own.

Once you’ve completed any given level with Point Man, you’ll unlock the ability to play as Paxton Fettel and can repeat that level from a new perspective. Fettel has telekinetic abilities that allow him to toss around enemies like a rag dolls or even possess them. Rather than explain all this to you, just watch the new trailer showcasing his evil nature. It’s quite gruesome.

Having the ability to play as both Point Man and Paxton Fettel will greatly extend the single player campaign, providing players with two distinct sets of skills. Couple that with a co-op mode as well, and F.E.A.R. 3 is shaping up to be quite the package.
