The Pink Knight joins Castle Crashers; fights against breast cancer

Submitted by on Friday, 4 February 20112 Comments

As you know, we here at PS3 Attitude are all about giving to charity so we take pleasure in hearing that The Behemoth will be bringing the Pink Knight to Castle Crashers, with all revenue from sales going towards charities for breast cancer research.

The Pink Knight actually debuted as an unlockable character in the Xbox LIVE version of Super Meat Boy. Rumors floated about as to when we would get to see our pink armored friend in Castle Crashers. That day comes soon as The Pink Knight Pack will be available in time for Valentine’s Day for $1.99 on the PSN Store.

Included is the Pink Knight character along with five brand new “adorable” weapons, one of which is a lollipop. Judging by the screenshots included on the PlayStation.Blog, you’ll shower your enemies with (double) rainbows, pink hearts, and lots of love.

Remember, 100% of the revenue generated from The Pink Knight Pack will go towards Breast Cancer Research. $2 gets you a killer new character and the money goes towards finding a cure. That’s a win in our book for sure.

As of right now, this only applies to the NA PSN Store as a EU release hasn’t been set but we imagine we’ll hear something about that soon. So for now, North American owners should be on the lookout for the Pink Knight.
