Trine 2 pushed back to summer; new gameplay trailer released
Trine is a classic platforming gem on the PSN and when we got the word that Frozenbyte was developing a sequel, well, we could be happier. The game was originally due out this spring but due to unforeseen circumstances, Trine 2 has been pushed back until the late summer. Hopefully it’ll give the development team more time to polish the game.
Now for a bit of good news. Atlus have released a new “Alluring Adventure” gameplay trailer showcasing the stunning lush environments you’ll come across playing as either the Knight, Rogue, or Wizard. You’ll have to fight, swing, and think your way through more enemies and puzzles this time around.
One thing we noticed after watching the gameplay trailer is how wonderfully the game could work with the Move Controller, especially the Wizard. Not many details about the game are known other than the ability to play cooperatively with others this time around so who knows, perhaps Move support will be included.
Regardless, Trine 2 is shaping up quite nicely from what we’ve seen so far. What are your thoughts on the new gameplay trailer and the news of its delayed release?
