SEGA teases new Sonic game for its 20th anniversary
Sonic the Hedgehog turns 20 this year and SEGA has big plans for our little blue friend. They have released a brief teaser trailer for a new Sonic game that’s headed to the PSN and Xbox LIVE later this year.
The trailer shows Sonic in his typically fashion, speeding through what appears to be a course in the Green Hill Zone, with the only difference being the absence of color aside from the path Sonic is running on.
Things then take a complete 180 as we see not one but two Sonics emerge. If you look closely, you’ll notice the second Sonic is the classic version with a softer shade of blue and other small, but noticeable, alterations. What does this mean exactly?
Could it be co-op? Could it signify a remake of a classic Sonic title? Nobody except SEGA knows for sure. Let the speculation and rumors commence!
