assassins creed revelations logo Assassins Creed Revelations coming this NovemberIf you can’t seem to get enough Ezio Auditore Ubitsoft has got you covered. The final chapter in the Ezio story arc has been added to the list of AAA titles to be released during the embarrassment of riches that is 2011.

In Assassin’s Creed Revelations gamers will simultaneously experience the next installment in the franchise and suitably send the dynamic Ezio Auditore off into the sunset.

The franchise is coming full circle in Revelations as Signore Auditore will be following in the footsteps of Altaïr, the protagonist of the original Assassin’s Creed. This path will see Ezio to Constantinople where the Templars are of course upsetting the region’s balance.

“Delivering the final chapter of the Ezio trilogy is an important milestone in the Assassin’s Creed franchise for us and for our fans. Assassin’s Creed Revelations includes lots of new features and some significant surprises. We can’t wait to show our fans what we have in store at E3 this year.” - Alexandre Amancio, Creative Director at Ubisoft Montreal

Although the success of the Assassin’s Creed franchise all but dictates its continuation beyond Ezio, it’s interesting to find Amancio speaking, albeit ever so slightly, of the franchise outside of the protagonist which this November will have spanned the last three games.

Assassin’s Creed Revelations will allow players to further screw with poor Desmond’s mind via the Animus to decipher the many mysteries of the past and future, both of which must at this points seem the same to him.

Additionally Ubisoft has vowed that the online multiplayer featured in Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood will also appear in Revelations complete with plenty of gameplay tweaks and expansions to satisfy assassins all around the world when the game debuts.

When Revelations is released it will have been just about a year since the release of Brotherhood. What are your thoughts on releasing the game so quickly?
