deus ex human revolution trailer Deus Ex E3 2011 trailerAlthough the madness that is E3 has yet to commence, Eidos Montreal has decided to give us all an early look at their official E3 trailer for Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

So what’s got protagonist Adam Jensen all riled up? It would appear to be the timeless hunger for oh so sweet revenge.

Up until now we had inclinations as to the narrative of Deus Ex: Human Revolution but nothing as clearly spelled out as it is in this trailer. We had seen the gameplay in action. Eidos even went so far as to outright display each of the approaches that Jensen can take when approached with an obstacle via their long-form video.

The story, on the surface, looks like your classic revenge tale with a shadowy syndicate and global conspiracy sprinkled in for good measure.

Jensen’s significant other, Megan Reed, had been working at a Sarif lab developing new ways to augment the physical structure of the human body. She believed this to be a landmark endeavor with the goal of improving lives.

All is well up until Ms. Reed discovers something big. A discovery which apparently puts her behind the 8-ball. This brings upon our assassin seen at the 0:22 mark.

Gravely injured, Adam must take on the augmentation process to survive. And with Megan gone he sets his sights on the destruction of those that forcefully ripped his life apart.

As always let us know what you think of the trailer.
