It’s been rumoured for a while, but it was finally announced during Sony’s E3 conference that DUST 514 will be released exclusively on the PlayStation 3.

DUST 514 is a sci-fi MMOFPS, which will be part of the EVE Online universe. The two games will be in some way connected; for example battles in DUST 514 will affect players on EVE Online.

In fact, DUST 514 will be the first game released by CCP Games since EVE Online, way back in 2003. This PS3-exclusivity has therefore angered many current EVE Online players.

However, the developer certainly seems to be dedicated to the PS3, as also announced was PlayStation Move functionality, a Home space, and even connectivity with the PlayStation Vita.
