E3 11; BioShock Infinite on PS3 gets exclusive features

Submitted by on Tuesday, 7 June 2011One Comment

During Sony’s E3 conference, Ken Levine, Creative Director at Irrational Games, took to the stage to announce that the PlayStation 3 version of BioShock Infinite will include Move functionality.

Levine admitted to being very sceptical about the Move, before Sony sent one to Irrational, and the company saw a lot of potential in the controller. Whilst no Move features were shown, we’d be surprised if the controller wasn’t used to interact with the rollercoaster-like Skyline.

PlayStation 3 fans have another treat in store for them, as the PS3 version of BioShock Infinite will contain the original BioShock on the same disc, giving players two awesome games for the price of one.

Also announced was a BioShock game for the PlayStation Vita (the official name of the NGP), so we’d be surprised if BioShock Infinite on PS3 will not connect to this Vita title in some way.

Finally, a new trailer of BioShock Infinite was also shown, and we have to say it’s looking absolutely beautiful (take a look for yourself if you don’t believe us).
