As E3 approaches, there’s nothing like releasing a trailer for one of the most anticipated games of recent memory to increase the already palpable excitement. That’s exactly what Sony and Naughty Dog have done, as over the last couple of days the internet has been going crazy for the new co-op trailer for Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception.

From the trailer, Uncharted 3′s co-op offering looks to expand on the awesome co-op mode of its predecessor, which is no bad thing. We know that split-screen multiplayer is an option this time around, but there are also rumours of a full three-player co-op story, which sees gamers take on the roles of several different characters. We guess we’ll have to wait until E3 to find out the facts.

Expect to hear a whole lot more aboout Uncharted 3, including its co-op mode, when E3 begins proper. The Sony conference kicks off at 1am BST on 7th June (that’s tomorrow night!).
