E3 11; God of War Origins Collection announced

Submitted by on Tuesday, 7 June 2011One Comment

During their E3 conference, Sony announced that both God of War PSP games, Chains of Olympus and Ghost of Sparta, will be fully remastered in HD, and released as the God of War Origins Collection for the PS3.

This announcement follows the recent news that fellow PSP titles, Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker and Monster Hunter Portable 3rd, are also getting the HD treatment, so we wouldn’t be surprised if many similar announcements are made in the near future.

The God of War Origins Collection will be fully playable in 3D, as will the highly anticipated ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection, which has sadly missed its original Spring 2011 release date.

Don’t worry though, as Sony also announced that both the God of War Origins Collection and ICO and Shadow of the Colossus Collection will be released in September, giving gamers only three more months to wait.
