Roughly a week ago Irrational Games gave us a taste of their BioShock Infinite E3 demo which was shown exclusively to those in attendance. Thankfully Ken Levine, creative director on BioShock Infinite, promised to later unveil the entire 15 minute demonstration to the public.
It’s later now.
After his success delivering the epic score for Insomniac Games’ Resistance 2, Boris Salchow, an L.A based film composer is returning for the third game in the series. He will be recording at London’s famous Abbey Road Studios.
Resistance 3 will focus on a far darker aesthetic to reflect the increased threat mankind faces from the invading Chimera, whilst continuing to represent the alternate 1950s setting that players will be accustomed to.
Last Friday, Disney made the sad decision to close British developer Black Rock Studio, the company behind awesome PS3 racers Pure and Split/Second. We were a big fan of the studio, and last year they were even included in our 100 Top Developers.
Games these days are all about shooting others in the face with massive guns or blowing things up. Where’s all the love?
Catherine is the type of game that focuses on relationships and character driven stories. PS3 Attitude was given a live demonstration of some of the early levels in the game by Aram Jabbari, the Manager of PR and Sales at Atlus U.S.A.
Bethesda Softworks, the masterminds behind the critically acclaimed Elder Scrolls and Fallout franchises, have announced Dishonored, a new IP from developers Arkane Studios.

The Uncharted series is one of the highest rated franchises on PlayStation 3, and is arguably the most popular, due to its engaging story and characters, entertaining and fluid gameplay, and the best graphics on Sony’s console.
However, as good as it was, the online multiplayer component of Uncharted 2: Among Thieves was often overlooked by many gamers when compared to the impressive single player campaign, which is real shame considering the game’s high quality.
This is something that Naughty Dog is keen to address in the series’ upcoming release, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. Therefore, the team is pulling out all the stops to make Uncharted 3 the killer online app on PlayStation 3.
Post E3, Irrational Games’ BioShock Infinite has scooped 75 editorial awards, including the coveted Game Critics Award for ‘Game of Show’. But what have the press been shown behind closed doors to generate such levels of enthusiasm?
