Rockstar Games quietly revealed what everyone practically already knew; Grand Theft Auto V is currently in the works. They did it by simply updating their www.rockstargames.com website with the logo of the upcoming game, continuing with the Roman numeral numbering of the sequel instead of a subtitle, ala San Andreas.

The website also reveals that the debut trailer for the game will be released next week on November 2nd.

Other than that, not much information about GTA V is known. It may be interesting to know that the V(Five) is stylized in a manner similar to the dollar bill. Whether this has any significance on the game has yet to be announced. Also, the appropriate Twitter hashtag is apparently #GTAV, according to the webpage’s title.

Some have already speculated that the new title in the series will take place in a fictional version of Los Angeles. Where do you think Grand Theft Auto V will take place, and what do you expect from the sequel of one of 2008s biggest hits?
