The Ninja Gaiden franchise is primarily known for two things; being insanely difficult and having buckets of blood splatter.

While these screenshots from the upcoming Ninja Gaiden 3 don’t necessarily showcase the level of difficulty in the game, they do give us a fantastic look at Ryu Hayabusa covered in his enemy’s blood.

In the shots, we see Ryu taking on various enemy soldiers in what appears to be a desert terrain. We also get a glimpse at his cursed right arm, which happened over the course of Ninja Gaiden II. The screenshots also depict one of the new powerful Ninpo techniques you will have at your disposal, allowing you to summon a fire dragon at will.
