PSN scheduled maintenance tomorrow

Submitted by on Wednesday, 16 November 20114 Comments

Sony has announced that PSN maintenance is scheduled for tomorrow, meaning that PS3 users will be unable to sign in or play online for the majority of the day.

According to the posts on the US and EU PlayStation blogs, the maintenance will occur in North America between 8am and 10pm PST, and in Europe between 4pm and 2am GMT on Friday morning.

As always, if you are already signed in when the maintenance starts, then you should be able to remain signed in and continue to play online during the maintenance. Unfortunately, everyone else will have to cope with single player games until Friday.

PSN maintenance is nothing out of the ordinary, but it tends to take place at night, so no one notices. It is very unusual for such a large chunk to occur in the middle of the day, which suggests this is something more than just standard maintenance.

Either way, it’s a good thing Skyrim just came out, right?
