Coming in 2012 as a digital download, Pid allows players to bend gravity to their will in order to solve puzzles, defeat enemies, and traverse the beautiful world you just so happen to be stranded on. The game has all of the elements of a platformer. There are items to collect in the form of stars, complex puzzles to unlock, and larger-than-life bosses to encounter.

A gravity-bending weapon of some sort is your primary means of exploration. By throwing a magical ball of light, you’re able to create a column that changes the flow of gravity. You can deflect projectiles, move obstacles, or even jump in yourself and become weightless. You’re definitely going to need a combination of all of them if you are to survive Pid.

Definitely the aspect that stands out the most with Pid is its visually beautiful world. Might & Delight is comprised of industry talent who have worked on titles inlcuding Bionic Commando: Rearmed, Mirror’s Edge, Battlefield and Killzone, and you can clearly see some of their influences.

We are no doubt intrigued by Pid and can’t wait to see more of what awaits us in 2012. For now, check out the trailer, screenshots, and concept art for the title. We’ve also posted some wallpapers on our Google+ page for those who are interested.
