Zombies aren’t the only thing you have to fear in Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City

Capcom has released a new trailer for Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City, this time featuring something that is perhaps more dangerous than the zombies, lickers, and tyrants rampaging through Raccoon City.

In the near six minute trailer, we get a close look at the members of the US Spec Ops Team – Tweed, Dee-Ay, Harley, Willow, Shona and Party Girl. Ridiculous names aside, these soldiers are accustomed to the viral outbreak that is plaguing the city. We also get a good look at the members of the Umbrella Security Service (USS) team, whose only mission is to dispose of any evidence of Umbrella. That means eliminating rookie cop Leon S. Kennedy. Naturally, the two groups don’t exactly get along.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is a departure from your typical Resident Evil game in that it’s a third person team-based shooter. As a member of the USS, you’ll be combating the government soldiers along with zombies and other B.O.W. agents; a real triple threat as the trailer suggests. No doubt this could lead to some very interesting online battles. Check out the trailer and see for yourself.

Resident Evil: Operation Raccoon City is set for release on March 20, 2012 in North America and on March 23 in Europe.
