Assassin’s Creed III arriving 30 October 2012
We still have Assassin’s Creed II’s pleasing after-taste in our mouths, not to mention the more recent but equally delectable tastes of Brotherhood and Revelations.
That’s enough to leave even the most gluttonous gamers full, so it wouldn’t surprise us if you aren’t ready for another serving just yet.
Then again. This is Assassin’s Creed III we’re talking about. It’s the biggest leap forward for the series since Assassin’s Creed II, and it’s going to be huge. It’ll be out on 30 October 2012 so you better make some room for it.
The date, as reported by Kotaku, was announced during a call with investors. The game has been in development for three years, and Ubisoft boss Yves Guillemot says it will be “the biggest launch in Ubisoft history”.
Where is the series heading to next? That’s the big question. Victorian England? Feudal Japan? Civil War America? The present? Your guess is as good as ours.
