I’ll have my console red, please – new scarlet PS3 coming to the UK
PS3 is adding fire to UK homes this month.
If you still haven’t picked up a PS3, need to replace one or are made of more money than your average dodgy used-car salesman – plus, you want to add a bit of colour to your living room – you will be delighted to know Sony is bringing a red PS3 model to the UK soon.
The console has previously only been available in Japan, but it will now be sold in the UK from Amazon (£249.99) and Play.com (£239.99) from 27 April, and more retailers are expected to offer the firey console soon.
The scarlet red PS3 comes with a 320 GB HDD and a matching red DualShock 3 controllor. Neither Amazon nor Play.com is offering any games or Blu-Rays with it.
It is looking like an expensive luxury. Amazon’s scarlet red slim is £50 more expensive than its regular slim, although the difference over at Play.com is only £10. But both stores also have competitively priced black slim models with bundled games and blu-rays. Still, it looks very stylish.
