Sniper Elite V2 devs to host live Q&A session on Twitter
Sniper Elite V2 developer, Rebellion, will host a live Q&A session over Twitter on Wednesday 4 April. Fans of the game will pitch questions directly to developers Steve Hart and Andy Haith between 15.00-16.00 GMT+1.
It could be an ideal opportunity to learn more about Sniper Elite V2′s “devastating X-ray kill-cam” or the “sniper’s choice”. All you have to do is send your questions to @SniperEliteV2 and use the #SEV2 hashtag.
Placing you in war-torn Berlin, during the Second World War, Sniper Elite V2 promises to offer players the most realistic sniping experience ever with “advanced ballistics, taking into account gravity, wind, velocity, bullet penetration, aim stability and more”. The game challenges you to know your environment and make the right decisions.
The PS2 original Sniper Elite from 2005 was a surprise hit, but enthusiasm for sniping sims has damped in recent years. Maybe the obligatory sniping levels in most modern FPSs have been enough to satiate to those desires for long-distance killing. Does Sniper Elite V2 have enough quality to revive the genre?
