Dev diary: what will you be fighting in Sorcery?
Over the last couple of weeks, we’ve learnt all about Sorcery’s technology, main characters and sound design. Now it’s time to take a look at the creatures you’ll be fighting against, in Sony and The Workshop’s final developer diary for the game.
Like fellow fantasy role-playing game, Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Sorcery has been heavily influenced by Celtic and Northern European mythology, which basically means you can expect to fight lots of banshees, pixies and boggarts during your adventure.
At the moment, Sorcery is looking pretty solid, if a little safe, so we’ll have to see if it has what it takes to stand toe-to-toe with other Western RPGs on PS3. We haven’t got long to wait though, as the final game releases worldwide next week.
