Fate/Unlimited Codes will be removed from the PS Store, on sale until 12 June
Capcom-Unity posted some disappointing news today. Fate/Unlimited Codes for PSP has been diagnosed with acute ”expiring digital license” and its fate on the PS Store is limited to 12 June. Until then, the PSP digital download is on sale for $9.99.
Capcom U.S.A. published the fighting game, based on the popular Japanese anime, to the PS Store. The description promises “a fast-paced, weapons-based fighting system that is sure to meet any Capcom fan’s highest expectations.”
Fate/Unlimited Codes for PSP was released to the US PlayStation Store on 2 September, 2009 for $29.99. It was developed by Eighting based out of Japan and known for games like Tatsunoko vs Capcom: Ultimate All-stars and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3.
Picking up the game now will guarantee that the game will be available in your Download List even after 12 June when its pulled from the virtual shelves of the PS Store. The game has been designed specifically with the PSP Go in mind, but is said to be playable on the Vita by first downloading to the PS3 before transferring to the Vita via USB.
