Cole, Jak and Daxter join the fight in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale

SuperBot have announced that Sony favourites Cole MacGrath and Jak and Daxter will be playable characters in PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale.

It seems that Daxter will be an extension of Jak’s move list rather than being a separate playable character but we don’t think anybody expected any different considering that the furry fuzzball is happy to let Jak do the fighting.

The Jak and Daxter series has always been important to both Sony, it’s fans and the platforming genre and so it’s great that they’re being included though it shouldn’t be a surprise to anybody.

Anybody familiar with the series will recognise Jak’s weaponry in the game and he will also be able to turn in to Light Jak and Dark Jak to wipe the other players from the stage.

The reveal trailer below gives you a taster of the power that the duo will have:

Cole will be electrifying the stage with his powers as he makes an appearance in another fighter, the first being Street Fighter X Tekken, and will most likely be a player favourite, due to his capabilities, once the game hits the stores later this year.

You’ll have control of both his electrokinesis and cryokinesis as you unleash tornados, bombs and other moves as you wipe out other opponents.

Cole may be joined by Kuo or Nix but for now, you’ll have to look at this reveal trailer and decide whether or not he’ll stand up against the rest of the cast:

We don’t think he’ll have a problem.

With these great additions to the cast, who else would you like to see? Let us know in the usual place below.
