Escape Plan follows Lil and Laarg as they go underground

Submitted by on Monday, 30 July 2012No Comment

It seems Lil and Laarg will never escape Bakuki with the amount of downloadable content it’s receiving!

IGN have confirmed that the third DLC, The Underground, will be arriving next Tuesday and Wednesday for the NA and EU PlayStation Stores respectively.

It will cost $1.99 for the first two weeks but will shoot up to $4.99 after. A similar thing will most likely happen for the EU version as with the previous DLC.

You will once again play as Lil and Laarg, the lovable duo, as they travel through a railway station to escape Bakuki who has yet to realise that despite Laarg’s size, he shall forever slip through the fingers of evil.

There will be 21 new levels to play through that make use of the original features and it will coincide with a new patch which allows you to use the circle button instead of pinching Lil to make him pass wind as well as other minor updates.

Also included will be four new trophies and four alternate costumes which will hopefully allow you to dress up our heroes in a variety of clothing such as Batman, Spider-Man and Wonder Woman. One can dream.

Escape Plan is one of the Vita’s earliest titles and it’s great to see that it’s still getting support (cheaply, at that) and we will continue to support it as it’s a brilliant game.

Will you be buying this DLC? Let us know in the usual place below.
