Hitman: Absolution ‘Streets of Hope’ gameplay

Submitted by on Saturday, 14 July 2012No Comment

After a little controversy, the wonderful folks at Square Enix have gotten their groove back and put out a pretty awesome video for Hitman: Absolution. In it, two of the developers take us through an almost 18-minute gameplay walkthrough.

The Hitman series has always been about taking out baddies in interesting ways, and this mouse-trap formula is on full display in the video below. Everything from silenced weapons to dog bones are at your disposal, and it looks like Agent 47 is not playing around.

Games like this always make me want a behind-the-scenes section on the Blu-ray; the A.I. whiteboard must be an immense thing to behold. To think of all the ways and options in which you can dispose of an enemy must take years to come up with or at least a very long night at the pub. Either way, add this to the list of games I’m eager to play and ready to plunk my money down for.

What are your thoughts on the video? Let us know in the usual place below.
