PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale gets a release date and pre-order costumes

Submitted by on Friday, 6 July 2012One Comment

PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale will be coming out on both the PS3 and the Vita on October 23rd in North America and on October 25th in most of Europe, Sony announced on the PlayStation.Blog. Those of you who pre-order the game will receive alternate costumes for all of the characters as well.

The exclusive pre-order so far costumes include a Robin Hood outfit for Sly, a Deimos makeover for Kratos, and a pirate getup for Fat Princess, among others. There will be more alternate costumes to unlock in the game but these ones will be exclusive to pre-orders. Best off all, you don’t have to pick and choose which retailer to get the game from as you’ll get every character’s costume included with your pre-order. The costumes will also be cross-compatible across both the PS3 and Vita so it doesn’t matter which system you pre-order for.

Two more characters are planned to be announced later on today at EVO 2012, bringing the character roster to an even 10. With Comic-Con a week away, we can also expect two more characters to be revealed.

Now that PlayStation All-Stars has a release date, will you be pre-ordering the game? What other characters would you like to see join the likes of Nathan Drake, Big Daddy, and Sweet Tooth? Let us know in the comments!
