GC2012; New ACIII: Liberation trailer is very Assassin’s Creed
Any lingering worries that you may have about ACIII: Liberation not being a full-fat Assassin’s Creed game can be put firmly to bed, as the new trailer shows that the title will be very much sticking to the franchise’s stealthy and stabby roots.
Don’t take that to mean we’ve seen it all before though, as Liberation is also set to take advantage of the PS Vita’s full set of features, making for a unique Assassin’s Creed experience; for example, the trailer shows off the game’s ‘touch to kill’ ability, and the use of the rear touch to row a boat.
Other things of note to look out for in the trailer include alligator wrestling, a possible underwater swimming section, and an alternate costume for protagonist Aveline de Grandpré.
The PS Vita is in dire need of a truly killer app, so fingers crossed Assassin’s Creed III: Liberation can deliver come the end of October. Pre-ordering the game will get you the Mysteries of the Bayou pack, which includes the Ceremonial Dagger, Alligator Hunter Hat, Upgraded Poison Dart pouch and Mackandal Bodyguard multiplayer character.
