GC2012; Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel receives first trailer
EA has released the first trailer for upcoming third-person shooter Army of Two: The Devil’s Cartel and, this is a total shot in the dark, it would seem as if something has gone terribly wrong in Mexico.
The trailer follows our two bromance buddies, Alpha and Bravo, as they are cornered by who we assume is the head honcho who then seems to shoot one of the pair in the back of the head. This being a trailer, we can only assume the bullet bounced off his head and will, in the final game, be the deus ex machina that saves the day. It also seems that the original duo will be back as Rios can be spotted around the 1 minute mark.
In true Army of Two fashion, we’re treated to several explosions, swearing, big weaponry, epic shields and several guns will meet faces. Don’t forget the slow motion, you can’t have dramatic without slow motion.
According to the trailer, it takes two to complete this mission, which is great because otherwise the other character would be a bit pointless, wouldn’t they?
The game is slated for March 2013 and is being deveoped by Visceral Games, developers of the successful Dead Space series.
