GC2012; Until Dawn brings the horror genre to the PlayStation Move

Submitted by on Wednesday, 15 August 2012No Comment

The PlayStation Move has been on the back burner as of late as Sony has put most of its focus on the PS3 and Vita but that is soon to change with Until Dawn, an upcoming horror game designed exclusively for the PS Move.

Developed by Supermassive Games, Until Dawn encompasses the classic horror movies of cinema. That means lots of bloody and disgusting deaths, rampant teen sex, and cheesy dialogue. If you’re a fan of Friday the 13th, Halloween, and Scream, then Until Dawn is for you.

The game follows a group of classmates who venture deep into a cabin in the woods to mourn the anniversary of their friends disappearance and get closure. You’ll be able to play as all seven of the characters as the game progresses, giving you control over who ultimately lives or dies in the end.

The PS Move will act like your flashlight in most cases and you’ll be able to map your actions directly to the players hand for 1-to-1 motion control to solve puzzles, fight, etc. Until Dawn will also feature Hollywood writers and TV talent to deliver the best horror experience to the PS3. They’re not saying who just yet but at least one “horror legend” is involved.
