GC2012; PS Plus coming to Vita and getting a discount, RDR and more cloud storage
Sony found some time in between firing out new games at its Tuesday Gamescom presentation to announce some exciting news regarding PS Plus.
The headline grabbing news was the announcement that the service will be expanding to PS Vita before the end of the year. In what form, when exactly and at what price – we’re still to find out.
Further improvements are being made with the cloud storage space about to increase from 150MB to 1GB. It’s a less eye catching announcement but this is still great news for those with lots of games.
Emphasising the value of PS Plus, Sony also revealed that September’s feature game on the Instant Game Collection will be Rockstar’s sensational Wild West blockbuster Red Dead Redemption.
If you’re an EU PS3 owner and don’t have PS Plus or Red Dead Redemption, maybe you’ll want to change that in September, because Sony will be offering a 25% discount to new members for two weeks.
