Devil May Cry 3: Dante’s Awakening is considered the best game in the franchise by many so it comes as no surprise that Dante’s Yamato-wielding twin brother Vergil will be making an appearance in the upcoming DmC reboot.

As revealed in the new GamesCom trailer, Vergil is the leader of the demon-fighting rebel group, The Order, and is looking to recruit Dante to aid in his cause.

Vergil’s design has been updated to fit the new DmC aesthetics, although he still retains his famous Yamato blade. There also appears to be more of an understanding between Dante and Vergil as the two appear to be working together to rid the world of demons, at least at first.
