LittleBigPlanet Karting races to stores with a special edition

Submitted by on Tuesday, 7 August 2012No Comment

Sony has announced that LittleBigPlanet Karting, developed by United Front Games, will be racing on to store shelves (you can imagine them if you buy online) later this winter.

Pre-order bonuses and a special edition have also been revealed; however, are they enough to make you take the plunge on day one? The VP of Everything Awesome will pull you in with his brilliant ways.

With PlayStation Plus users having access to the beta for roughly a month now, users are itching to get their hands on the full game to play with the highly generous amount of customisational tools to create the racing game they’ve always wanted.

Whilst we may have to wait a few months to do so, we can start drooling over the pre-order bonuses and special edition announcements made earlier today.

If you pre-order, you will be treated to the Game Maker Pack. This features exclusive characters and karts including Kevin Butler in his executive golf buggy kart, a race car driver with a race car kart and the mascot of United Front Games in an arcade machine kart.

Wouldn’t you love to tear up the tracks as this lot?

The special edition will come in a lenticular 3D sleeve. The contents are being revealed later this month, but here is an image of the colourful boxart below to keep you going until then:

The game will be released in the US on Tuesday, 6 November 2012, across Europe on Wednesday, 7 November and UK and Ireland will finally get it on Friday, 9 November.

Will you be buying it? Let us know in the usual place below.
