Scott Pilgrim to receive online multiplayer after two years
Ubisoft have announced that colourful, retro-inspired Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game will finally receive online multiplayer over two years after release.
It will be available as downloadable content alongside fan favourite, hit-on-everybody Wallace Wells as a playable character.
The Scott Pilgrim game released on 10th August, 2010 and the DLC is slated for 19th August, 2012. Despite the huge time gap, fans are ecstatic that they will finally be able to play with their friends online as they take down Ramona’s Seven Evil Exe’s.
The team here at PS3Attitude absolutely loved the game with Nixemus’ review stating that:
Overall, Scott Pilgrim is worth every penny. Multiple characters with different powers and attacks, as well as secret areas and items to buy, make for good replay value, and the whole game is just a generally fun experience. Lack of online multiplayer is disappointing, but it won’t stop you if you have an extra controller, another person and a few hours to kill. It would also have been nice to see a one-on-one feature, where you could simply brawl with another person in an arena, but the epic journey you go on, the presentation, and the price make this a must-download for any gamer.
