Playerthree talks Chronovolt, PS Mobile and PS Vita

Founded over ten years ago, London-based developer Playerthree has worked on more projects than we can ever hope to count. In October, the studio released puzzle game Loot the Land as part of the PlayStation Mobile launch, and last week saw the arrival of their first full PSN game, Chronovolt, exclusively on PS Vita. Luigi Fumero, Development Director at Playerthree, recently took some time to talk to PS3 Attitude about their games, PSM, PS Vita, and a hint at what’s to come.

This time around, it’s not about what mission to complete but more so about whose side you’re on…

5 coats that would keep us warm this winter

There are at least a dozen titles for 5 Games That articles floating around PS3 Attitude at any one time, so this week we thought we’d dig out one of our more obscure (read: crazy) ideas. Specifically, with winter very nearly upon us, we’ve been discussing five videogame characters’ coats we’d like to wear during this coldest of seasons (yeah, told you it was obscure).

Resident Evil: Revelations making its way to PS3?

Resident Evil: Revelations, currently exclusive to the Nintendo 3DS, may be making its way to the PS3 if this link to the Koreans Rating Board holds any truth. (Via NeoGAF, where one user has awesome Capcom game-finding skills.)

If this means more Jill Valentine in HD then we are fully supporting this.

Is the PlayStation Vita dead? Um, no.

Since the launch of the PlayStation Vita, it has contended with a constant barrage of criticism, from analysts who simply cannot see a future for Sony’s latest handheld console. Indeed, in an age when consumers have become familiar with paying 59p for mobile games, encouraging them to spend £40 instead, albeit for a superior experience, is proving to be an uphill struggle.
