Tomb Raider collector’s edition revealed; play with Lara

Submitted by on Wednesday, 14 November 2012One Comment

Crystal Dynamics has revealed the collector’s editions for the upcoming Tomb Raider game, releasing next March.

An abundance of items are included, notably a figurine, that should please Lara Croft fans, and we know we’ll be spending hours posing with her.

There are a handful of editions available, each with slightly different content.

The UK version includes:

  • An 8″ Play Arts Kai Lara Croft posable figure
  • Art book
  • A survival pouch
  • In-game weapon DLC
  • 10 track music score
  • Double sided poster and island map
  • A survival tin to house it all

Gaze below at its beauty.

The US collectors edition is very similar, including:

  • An 8″ Play Arts Kai Lara Croft posable figure
  • An exclusive lithograph
  • 3 iron-on badges
  • In-game weapon DLC
  • 10 track music score
  • A double sided poster and island map
  • A survival tin

Take a look at the slightly different US exclusive edition below.

Also available is the Survivor Edition, similar to the above editions but with much less content which consists of:

  • An artbook
  • A double sided poster and island map
  • A 10 track music score
  • A survival pouch
  • In-game weapon DLC

Worth noting is that the survival pouch is waterproof, perfect to keep your phone safe when you fight sharks underwater but would like to order a pizza.

But clearly, the posable, high-detailed figure is the selling point as it allows you to play with Lara croft as you’ve wanted to since she made her pointy-breasted debut on PS1. Luckily, there’s no chance of you harming yourself as they’ve been entirely smoothed out.

Tomb Raider is releasing 5 March worldwide.

What edition will you be getting, if any? Let us know in the usual place below.
