Demon’s Souls goes digital; Pure White Tendency incoming

Submitted by on Thursday, 3 January 2013No Comment

Demon's SoulsDemon’s Souls is going digital and releasing on the PSN next week on January 8th, ATLUS announced today. To celebrate the occasion, there will also be a Pure White World Tendency beginning that day and lasting until January 14th.

For those who have yet to experience one of the PS3’s most difficult games, Demon’s Souls will only cost you $19.99 on the PSN. The Pure White Tendency will adjust the game’s difficulty to make it slightly easier for newcomers, giving enemies decreased HP, attack power, and defense, while players will inflict more damage when attacking. Other in-game changes will occur as well but it’s up to the players to discover them.

The PSN version is only confirmed for North America at the moment. Namco Bandai is in charge of the European version of the game, and there is no word yet of a release outside of NA.

So, for those of you who have yet to jump on the Demon’s Souls bandwagon, will you be downloading the game next week?
