Injustice: Gods Among Us releases April 16; Battle Edition announced

IGAU_Battle Edition_PS3Warner Bros. Interactive have announced that DC fighter Injustice: Gods Among Us will release in North America on April 16 and in Europe on April 19.

In addition to the standard and Collector’s Edition previously announced, there will also be a Battle Edition featuring an exclusive fight stick and The New 52 DLC skins.

The Injustice: Gods Among Us Battle Edition will cost $149.99 and appears to be exclusive to the North American market. Included is the fight stick featuring the likes of Superman, Batman, the Joker, and others. According to the press release, the stick “boasts a non-skid foam underside, a lockout feature for the Start, Select and Guide buttons, as well as adjustable illumination for the buttons and joystick.” Also included are three skins for Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman from The New 52 line of DC Comics.

If you’re not willing to shell out the $150 for the Battle Edition, $100 will get you the Collector’s Edition which feature a statue, comic book, digital copy of the animated film Justice League: Doom, and the three DLC skins mentioned above. The UK version of the Collector’s Edition features a slightly different statue and a steel-book case in place of Justice League: Doom.
