The North American PlayStation Store has officially been refreshed.

Every week, we share what new games are newly available for PS3, Vita, and sometimes PSP. Full PS3 disc-based games often turn into digital downloads, new PSN titles from respected long running franchises as well as indie gems, and minis for days.

Its another Monday PlayStation Store refresh and the last of 2012. Although our friends in other parts of the world are actually bringing in the new year, California still has around 7 hours to go. And since that is where the PlayStation Store is actually updated from, let’s go with that being the time right now.

Vita gets a freebie for all in a native version of Jetpack Joyride coming equipped with 12 unique trophies to unlock. This game is the same as the minis version but only for Vita and supports micro-transactions such as extra coin packs. If you’re a Plus subscriber, then Chronovolt comes to your Vita free of charge care of your Instant Game Collection.

Moving onto PS3 content, we see another copy of Jetpack Joyride overtaking PSN. Again, Plus subscribers are given a free copy of NBA Jam On Fire Edition. Additional discounts can be found on some choice PSN titles such as Sound Shapes and Skullgirls as well as big brand name adventures like Batman: Arkham City.

Do we think its unfair that North America gets two store updates during the holidays and Europe gets none? Absolutely! So let’s gloat and take a look at the final update for 2012 below:
