Next Phineas and Ferb game coming from Majesco and Disney Interactive partnership
The PlayStation 3 has had its fill of Disney game titles including one Phineas & Ferb game subtitled Across the 2nd Dimension. Disney Interactive will now be collaborating with Majesco to bring the next Phineas and Ferb game to retail consoles and gaming handhelds August 2013.
The morning press release doesn’t provide anymore detail than we just did. The last game was what we call an “easy platinum” and allowed younger gamers to control their favorite characters from the hilarious Disney cartoon. Jesse Sutton, chief executive officer for Majesco Entertainment, had this to say about the partnership:
We are thrilled to be teaming up with Disney to bring a new Phineas and Ferb game to market across multiple platforms. Phineas and Ferb is known for fun-filled adventures and hilarious gags that appeal to a universal audience, and we’re creating a game that leverages the characters and brand attributes of the highly successful series.
The level of quality Disney brings to their titles is usually high and we’d expect nothing less from this next family friendly outing. There are plenty of potential features and improvements a new Phineas and Ferb game could offer and with the potential for a native Vita version, we will be keeping an eye out for more details as soon as Majesco or Disney decide to share.
To get caught up on the last game you can buy it at Amazon for under $20 and it comes with HD episodes of the show for the kids to watch on the same Blu-ray disc, a PlayStation 3 exclusive. Are you ready for another inter-dimensional adventure with the Bill & Ted of the 2000s?
